CARING FOR YOUR SLING

LINENS

Let's be real. As adorable as those kiddos are, accidents happen! Maybe it's not even their fault and a glass of red wine attacked your sling. Whatever. See below for more details on how best to wash your linen sling.

HANDWASHING

  • Unthread sling.
  • Fill a sink or bucket with cold water.
  • Add a little liquid detergent. Note: be sure to use a detergent free of optical brighteners.
  • Pop your sling in the water and swirl it around for a few minutes - If the sling loses a little dye, don't panic - this is normal!
  • Remove sling from water and gently squeeze to remove as much excess water as possible.
  • Hang to dry away from direct sunlight.
  • When dry, iron on the highest setting your iron has - your sling will be stiff post washing and this step will help get it nice and soft!

MACHINE WASHING

  • Unthread sling.
  • Cover sling rings with a tight fitted sock to protect them in the machine.
  • Add to machine and wash. You will want it to be in the machine by itself and wash with cold water on a gentle / delicates cycle.
  • Hang to dry away from direct sunlight.
  • When dry, iron on the highest setting your iron has - your sling will be stiff post washing and this step will help get it nice and soft!
